"Let It Go" was written after a stressful day that Chad and myself recently faced. We own a local recording studio in North Carolina. With a list of things to get done one day, it seemed that nothing was going right, and out of that, this song was created. While I went to get lunch, Chad went into the studio and began pounding a melody on the keyboard. While standing in line at Wendy's, I over heard a man in front of me talking about someone who was fighting cancer. Under my breath, I said a short prayer for the person and during the prayer, used the words "let it go." The weird thing about it is, that I didn't use the words in the correct spot and it made no sense at all. When I got back to the studio, Chad had already written a few lines, including the chorus line, "Let It Go." In amazement, I told him about the prayer that I had just prayed for the person dealing with cancer. From there, we both started writing lines down on a yellow notepad, as fast as we could sing them. It took us about 20 minutes to write the song. We hope that "Let It Go" touches people and helps them in their everyday lives. It doesn't matter how big or small your problems may be, if you just give them to God, He will take care of you. "Just let it go." GOD LOVES YOU! -Taylor Vaden
