This single track is inspired by the Oregon high plain desert. Shaniko, originally settled during the Western gold rush of the 1800s, was later abandoned. This music evokes memories of the Columbia Southern Railway and spirit of these early pioneers. The hopes, dreams, and spirituality that still exists, even though Shaniko is now a Western ghost town.

A lyric harmonica compliments the mellowness of the nylon string guitar. After the opening strains, the music evolves into a hymn, evoking the Western spirit.
