Throughout her teenage years, she has been learning music production on her own and explored different genres of music, from alternative rock to musical theatre, in terms of performance and writing. Now at 21, she’s working on an independent electronic music project while taking up a business degree in school. Highly influenced by the sounds of Flume, Grimes, Britney Spears and Cocteau Twins, Yaneza combines elements of dream pop and future bass in this track, with ethereal vocals and brassy synths. She hopes to carve a name in the genre of alternative pop and evoke reminiscent feelings in her music similar to 90’s bubblegum pop tunes.
