简介
http://www.alinefrazao.com https://www.facebook.com/oficialalinefrazao Aline Frazão (Luanda, 1988) is one of the most exciting up-and-coming Angolan musicians. Brought up in Luanda, she is a singer-songwriter, guitar player and producer who currently lives in Lisbon. Apart from her music career, Aline also collaborates with the digital newspaper Rede Angola, where she writes a weekly column. Clave Bantu was her debut album in 2011, which was recorded in Santiago de Compostela with musicians Jose Manuel Díaz and Carlos Freire, presenting Aline’s original songs and featuring two collaborations with Angolan writers José Eduardo Agualusa and Ondjaki. Her second full-length album Movimento (Movement) was launched in 2013 and saw Aline also take care of the production. The album includes Alda Lara’s poem “Ronda” as well as a partnership with Angolan songwriter, poet and journalist Carlos Ferreira in the song “Desassossego” (“Uneasiness”). It was released in May by the Portuguese label PontoZurca and was distributed in Europe by Coast Company. After launching the album in Luanda, Aline toured worldwide, visiting a wide range of countries including Cape-Verde, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Switzerland, Norway and Austria. Aline Frazão has just released her latest album Insular in both Portugal and Angola; an album again featuring original compositions only. It was recorded in the Scottish island of Jura with British producer Giles Perring and the guitar player Pedro Geraldes (Linda Martini) who played a major role. Insular brings us new collaborations; they include Angolan poet Ana Paula Tavares and Portuguese rapper Capicua, as well as a cover version of Rosita Palma’s “Susana”, featuring Toty Sa’Med. Insular was released in Luanda on 31 October 2015 and since 20 November is available in Portugal on the label NorteSul. The international version of the album is scheduled for April 2016.
