简介
I started rapping when I was 13, going to school at McNair Middle in College Park, Ga. I I used to have lunchroom rap battles with a few friends of mine. That's how I obtained the name JB DA FATBOI, and I just stuck with it. After middle school, I moved back to my hometown Boston, Ga to finish High School and get closer to my dad. I still messed around with rapping here and there, but I didn't make it a priority. I figured at the time there are a million rappers in the world, and I didn't see where I would fit in. As years passed by I kept at it off and on. Never would stay consistent at it though. January 2011 I recorded my very first song titled "I'm On It". Again, I didn't stay consistent due to working a full time Job and spending time with my daughter at the time. I actually planned on making Lowe's my career as I had been working with the company for 5 years. That all came to an end the night of September 18, 2011. That was the night I was shot. A cousing of mine and I got into a verbal altercation. Then it got physical. I got the best of him, thinking we was just going to squash it the next day. He wasn't thinking along the same lines as I was. He came back trying to take me out. The first bullet grazed my foot, the second shot shattered my femur bone. Had to get a Titanium Rod placed in going from my hip to my knee. During the time I was in a lot of pain, I also violated my probation as well the night I was shot. When I went to court thinking everything was going be okay due to my condition, the judge sent me to jail anyway. This was a month after surgery and I was on a walker. My time in jail help me realize what was more important. I found what God's will for me was. After I was released, I relocated to the Atlanta, Ga Area for a better life. During my time of recovery, I kept myself occupied reading books mostly. Then that's when the opportunity presented itself for me to take Rapping to another level. Everyday I wrote a song. Now I have accumulated over 30 songs. I didn't think I had that in me to do. I surprised myself. Due to my medical condition I'm not able to work a regular job again. Writing music is all that I have now. I decided to make this my career and take it to the next level as an new upcoming independent artist. Thanks for reading up on my story.
