The Ethan Lucas Band had a long hard road to its arrival in Nashville where it changed its sound, after many years of being a Rock band, and doing very little Country, to gearing up at a perfect time to the groundbreaking sounds of artists like Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and Eric Church. While most of Ethan Lucas Band's sound is along these lines of modern Rock/Country, they do occasionally dial the clock back to older, more traditional Country influences, as they did in their debut hit single "Keep the Change," which features recording artist band member and producer Nate McDonough, rather than Ethan Lucas, the band's front man, lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist/pianist.
