Anthony Wilcox, better known by his stage name Mc-COY, is a recording artist with a vision to keep hip hop alive. Mc-COY was born on July 14th, 1990 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He moved to San Francisco in 2012 to pursue his career. He has been writing poetry since his youth, and recently made the decision to turn his writing into music. Mc-COY's inspirations include old-school artists such as OutKast and A Tribe Called Quest. Mc-COY will release his first EP, "All Power To The People" on July 14th, 2017. This project will inspire all audiences to remember what real hip hop sounds like. Mc-COY has a new music video in the works and is currently performing at local Bay Area venues. He continues to work on his goal to keep real hip hop alive. "Mc-COY is a unique artist whose determination gives me hope for the future of hip hop music."
