Most of Mawa Keita's music is created in the small studio in her Houston home, then professionally recorded and mastered at iMix Studios. Her favorite topic to write about is love, simply because it is the topic that has served as her strongest source of inspiration so far. Reminiscent of Erykah Badu or Amy Winehouse, Mawa uses her voice and mixes co-produced by Bruce Bang to express her take on the beautiful charms and vicious bites of love.
