New Mexico guitarist, Scott Peterson, explores slightly darker themes of late-night solitude and the serene isolation of the wilderness in his third CD, Bad Lands. This collection of guitar-based instrumentals is derived from fleeting, panoramic childhood memories of the southwestern desert and is interwoven with imagery of old travel magazines and midcentury westerns.
