简介

Mike and the Restives (pronounced "rest of us") album Boston Nashville. Mike Pellecchia wrote these songs, and then teamed with a producer in Boston, Eric Kilburn, and a producer in Nashville, Jay Patten, to incorporate a diverse musical landscape. Notes on the songs: The voice in "Why Aren't You Crying," ends up doing the crying. A puppy finds a new home in "Getting A Puppy." The teller of "My Glasses" may or may not have dementia. The voice in "Picture of You" is ready to edit their memories. The voice in "Stuff I'm Saving" is ready to discard their memories. "You Don't Know Me Anymore" questions whether you can really know a person. "Cannabis" is an homage to the style of Tom Lehrer. "Island In The Harbor" is a simple pleasure. A lawyer thinks he remembers something about a former client, in "When I Get Out." The voice in "Small Place" reminds that the important things are the ones you can touch and feel. In "Time is a Thief," a widower updates his wife in the afterlife. The song "Every Wants What We Got" pokes fun at the early adopter segment. The song "You Call It Joggin'" is for fans of the late creative giant John D. Loudermilk, and features his son Mike on guitar.
