MaD SoN, best known for his work with the Twin Cities hip hop trio Unknown Prophets, is proud to release his first single “Northeast!” What better way to introduce the MC/Producers new solo endeavor than with a song about the place that he calls home . The track features Budo (Grieves/Budo) on brass/keys, Lydia Hoglund (Bomba de Luz) on vocals, Graham O’Brien (No Bird Sing) on drums, and Casey O’Brien (Coloring Time/Eyedea) on bass. In the catchy guitar driven song MaD SoN makes reference to some of his favorite places and things around the diverse and arts rich neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis.
