简介

The exceptional cast for WILDERNESS PLOTS includes noted singer-songwriters CARRIE NEWCOMER, TIM GRIMM, KRISTA DETOR, TOM ROZNOWSKI, and MICHAEL WHITE, performing songs drawn from the tales of Scott Russell Sanders, creating a timeless album at turns romantic, tragic, elegiac, and comic, compressing entire lifetimes into a few stanzas. Like the most distinctive American folksongs and folktales, WILDERNESS PLOTS arises from the experience of wrestling with a wild, raucous, dangerous, and glorious continent. "The language of these tales is chiseled, spare to the point of folklore: every word carries a lovely weight. Seldom has America's early story been so beautifully told." ~ Publishers Weekly "IT IS A RARE AND WONDERFUL event to see a new blended-genre piece work so beautifully in a first time on its feet! Wilderness Plots is already well on its way to capturing something powerful about rural, Midwestern life in a way that is fresh and highly appealing. Thanks for allowing me to see it in its early stage of development." ~ Joel Grynheim, Project Manager, The New Harmony Project Wilderness Plots Artist Representation: MIKE GREEN AND ASSOCIATES 1224 Saunders Crescent Ann Arbor, MI 48103 Phone: 734.769.7254 || Fax: 734.761.7559 || Cell: 734.678.4722 http://www.mikegreenassociates.com mikeg@mikegreenassociates.com
