I remember sitting down in Dr. Robert Marler's piano studio, he at one grand piano and me on the other while we went over the pieces he was to record for this album. Put it this way, he is a bazooka of a musician and I was bringing him BBs, or at least that is how I felt. Yet, considering he is a much-in-demand concert pianist, Robert is also a great teacher at Belmont University in Nashville and also quite willing to come down from Mount Olympus to turn my music into magic. Suddenly, right then, right there, these modest compositions were crafted into art by Robert's immense talent and sensitivity. Thank you, Robert, for helping me bring my music to light.
