This song was a true collaboration between myself and Ceci G. I had been a fan of Ceci's work for a minute and when she offered to do a session with me I jumped at the chance. My original demo was closer to a ballad - something born of an actual crying moment for me. When I showed her the song, she suggested we turn it into something badass. With that approach I was able to take ownership of my experience. It felt amazing.
