"OPULENCE" is another release from CiVega Productions that presents the creativity, talents and musical skills of some of the finest professional artists on the East Coast ! Many of the songs and instrumentals are originals and some are versions of popular covers or standards. This collection includes music from the public domain that has been arranged and performed in a modern, contemporary fashion. Some of the music, the instrumentals especially, are very suitable for film and TV score. The songs are ballads, more from an easy listening perspective. The feature track "Time" produced by CiVega Productions and written by Lou Pietosi provides both heartfelt lyrics and powerful energetic leads on sax and guitar! There are two versions of the title track "OPULENCE". The first and opening Track 1 is a synth version labeled "Tribute to Bashar". It effectively utilizes some digital and electronic programs that provide the sounds of science fiction or a popular video game. The other version, Track 9 is an instrumental that features the masterful work and artistry of John Michalak on saxophone. The popular standard "Misty" is arranged and performed as a piano solo by Chico Emerico and this rendition is as easy listening as it gets ! These many aspects of music and co creation have been engineered and mastered by Dave Schanzer at Lakeshore Recording in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dave has the experience and is one of the best !
