Eurydice is a metal band based in the heartland of America, with members from Cape Girardeau, St. Louis, and Dexter, MO, and Carbondale, IL. With over 50 years of combined formal music training ranging from composition to vocal education, the quintet has developed their own unique sound that is every bit as relentless as it is eclectic. The group utilizes the techniques of modern metal to Baroque counterpoint and the monophony of Gregorian chant dating back over a millennium. Eurydice seeks to bring together all the best aspects from a diverse palate of musical genres and wrap it all up into one brilliantly brutal package. Their music features many references to a number of Classical and Romantic era composers such as J.S. Bach, Edvard Grieg, and Carl Orff.

Since their first steps in the summer of 2014, Eurydice has shared the stage with a number of national acts including Polyphia, Miss May I, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Like Moths to Flames.. Geographical distance and a number of lineup changes have done nothing to slow the group down, and they show no sign of losing speed in the foreseeable future.
