简介
A Jaques Brél with Russian Soul. Vladimir Korneev, vocal & piano Liviu Petcu, piano. Passionate, youthful and decidedly individual. Vladimir Korneev gives chansons of the past a contemporary feel. In his live album „ЯÉCITAL“ he sings of the zest for life, its power, its intensity and its desires. Love. Pain. New beginnings. For the actor and singer Korneev chansons are sung monologues. He is skilled at molding songs to his style, delivering an intimate interpretation to the audience. Together with the pianist Liviu Petcu he draws his listeners into his own deep musical and emotional inner landscape. Korneev and Petcu have developed highly original arrangements. Using the emotional appeal of chansons in combination with husky tones of jazz, they make a statement that never loses its sensibility. The album was recorded live at the premiere of Korneev’s new program with French and Russian chansons at Bar Jeder Vernunft Berlin. The album is produced by Ulrike Schwarz and mixed by Jim Anderson. The Executive producers are Giovanni Weidinger, Ulrike Schwarz and Vladimir Korneev. Included among the twelve tracks on the CD „ЯÉCITAL“ are the German version of “comme ils disent“ by Charles Aznavour, „Padam“, „Milord“ and „Mon dieu“ by Edith Piaf, the touching Russian romances „Tolko Raz“, „Zhuravli“, Dorogaj dlinaju“, „Otschi Tschornye“, „Ja sprosil u jasena“, „Les moulins de mon coeur“ by Michel Legrand, Korneev´s own chanson composition “Spiel nicht mit mir“ and Liviu Petcu’ s piano solo „Claire de Lune“ by Claude Debussy. Korneev sings in German, French and his native language: Russian.
