Hidden talent is everywhere in Toronto, a city on the brink. OSIYM, which stands for Out Of Sight, In Your Mind, are no exception. Rappers Charlie Black and Nova have been creating their own individual buzz in the city’s underground scene before finally joining forces as a duo. While Charlie Black has released two acclaimed mixtapes, D.E.S.T.A. Dude and Work in Progress, Nova’s own project It Was All A Dream: The HIStory helped build a foundation of true supporters. With a sound that moves easily from boom bap to trap, OSIYM creates the perfect blend of honest lyrics and party anthems. Bringing their undeniable stage presence to venues across the city, the duo is making a name for themselves by performing with artists like Obie Trice and Waka Flocka, and on showcases like A3C, Pop Montreal, Canadian Music Week and North by Northeast music festival.
