简介
Joe Stamm and the 26ers hail from central Illinois, blending a country and rock style that reflects influences from classic country to southern rock to the red dirt scene in Texas. They get their name from Illinois Route 26, which runs along the Illinois River through the heart of the state. Joe and each member of the 26ers have spent most of their lives along that road, that river, and the countryside the stretches out from both. Joe's original music is lyrically driven, borrowing from the personal experience of a life in rural Illinois and the imagination that grows out of this experience. Look for a full album in the coming year, in which "Song of the Hills" will be featured along with a full set of Joe Stamm's original material. This single - and this forthcoming album - are steeped in the roots of rural living, live music and a genuine country-rock feel that evokes heartache, humility, pride, weakness, strength and all the emotions such conditions produce.
