Jennifer Evans has been singing gospel hymns since her early childhood in Baptist church pews in rural Mississippi. Her original vocal styling earned her an 2007 EnSound Best Music Award as Best Traditional Gospel Performer. In 2009 she made her independent film debut in the premiere of the Foundation of the Earth at the Nasher Museum and she performed at DPAC at the 2010 Goodmon Awards. She is a featured gospel artist at the Gainesville Fl. Juneteenth Celebration and, is a cast member of the award-winning "Hidden Voices", performing and composing music for the production Home Is Not One Story. Her debut CD, Delayed But Not Denied received praise from music critics. Her second CD entitled "Just Your Name" was released in the Fall of 2010 and it will leave you in total worship.
