Scratched Rhythms are back in 2014 with their first release of the year. In no better fashion than to start with a truly foot taping E.P. 'Sub8-Ak' Kicking of where they left of last year with building solid foundations of a truly independent underground house label. 'Aka Sub8 was created with 2 words in mind 'Bouncy & Rolling', whilst creating this track I was influenced by DJ PP, my digital enemy and Mario Ochoa. I did find difficulties writing this track as it was my 1st tech house track. But thoroughly enjoyed making it. Let the music flow within.' The Sr team began forming close relations with up and coming producers on the soundcloud commmunity early lasy year,searching for un-heard of talent,who needed help in getting thier music out to the world,The Sr team found this gem of a producer called,(Sub8) with a track (Aka) on his soundcloud playlist. We just had to sign this track after listening to it a few times and all coming to agreement that this track was so well produced and had that edge, we are sure you will agree that throughout musical times, tracks of this nature are few and far between. capturing the early essence of house music,sending tones of warmth,love & unity towards the listener,firmly grabbing the roots of house music with both hands and placing them firmly on this track. In addition the Sr team sent out the usual calls on social media sites for producers to give a remix a go with the best three given the green light for release. These include the label's in house duo As1 & Raymaster X,who bring their unqiue sound and solid delivery with their remixes. The Sr team are also proud to introduce 'In The Dark' bringing a tribal house remix to add to the E.p,future releases are underway from the Duo/house/edm group from Glasgow.Keep your ears peeled :)
