Many people already know who \"X-Mann\" is, but admittedly, there are still a few out there that don\'t. For those select few, prepare yourselves for an insightful journey into the world of the X-Mann and X-Werks Entertainment. The year is 1995, \"X-Da Hitman\" as he\'s then called is a sold artist on Cartel Records. He\'s compiled several songs with now double platinum producer Mike B. and is poised to release his own project within a relatively short period of time. Guess What? As rumors have it, no solo project for \"X\' was even being considered for release...unless...X-Mann joined Trinity Garden Cartel (T.G.C.). Fast forward to 1996 and \"Da Saga Continues\" hits the shelves. Does the phrase :I\'d rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6\" ring any bells? T.G.C., along with \"X-Mann\" as a member for the first time, enjoyed the greatest success in their history to date. Profits were rumored to be well over a quarter of a million dollars...Really!!! As is common knowledge, The Cartel of 96 disbanded and all continued in their respective directions. \"X-Mann\" began seeking our local producers as the main objective was to release his long awaited solo debut, \"The Man Behind The Madness\". Unfortunately, no collaborations with Mike B. were able to be negotiated, so X-Werks Entertainment contracted O.G.C. of Da Secret Society to provide all of the tracks for the album. They also sought out long time associate Andre \"Such-N-Such\" Foster, who provided one track for the project. \"This Madness\" dropped in late 98, early 99 and believe it or not folks, it reached .. 35 on the Top 50 Independents Chart (Check the records baby!). For an independent company owned and operated by a staff of less than 5 individuals, THAT is an accomplishment! We\'re now moving well into 2K6 and the stage is set for a lyrical/musical assault the likes of which have rarely been witnessed by human eyes and ears. X-Werks Entertainment has spent 3 years of sweating, bleeding, clawing, striving, persevering...(whew)...The point is, the time has arrived for the sophomore follow-up to Tha Madness, and believe me, it was worth the wait. The name of this project is \"History In The Making\" and it lives up to it\'s title 10 times over. The variety and raw force of the album is overwhelming from beginning to end and I doubt any true rap fan wouldn\'t enjoy this CD. \"History\" Has Been Made!
