Made up of three brothers and a close friend all with the same passion for music and rock and roll, 82FIFTY would be best described as a very UNIQUE, FUN, and BADASS rock/alternative/reggae band from Pearl City, Hawaii. 82FIFTY has been rocking hard in paradise for over four years, some may remember them under their old name "Speedlimit". Humbled by constant let downs and lack of support from Hawaii's music scene, where rock music is misunderstood, 82FIFTY continues to stay true to their style and constantly pushes the envelope with their music. 82FIFTY shows are filled with high energy that will keep you on your feet and original music reminiscent of artists who influence their style - artists include The Beatles, Sublime, Bob Marley, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and so on. With their first CD released in October of 2007 (Take a Chance And Let The Music Play), 82FIFTY has been making a bit of noise in Hawaii's music scene and its about damn time. Their unique sound and style has awarded them 2008's Hawaii Music Award for Best Rock Album, A nomination for Hawaii's Hoku Awards, and has landed them shows opening for Vince Neil's Band 2 years in a row.
