My heritage is Irish, but I was born and reared in England. I began my singing career at the tender age of fifteen. I have appeared on Radio,Television and made Records. I have encompassed the musical spectrum, Folk, Rock and Popular music Jazz. In 1970 I was a member of the UK band THE GHOST . A Progressive Psych Rock and Folk Band. Our Album 'When You're Dead' a collectable ! Jazz however pulled me back to solo work and through this time I would play second on the bill to Stephane Grappelli, Oscar Peterson, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Blossom Dearie, George Melley, Dakota Stanton, Roland Kirk, John Dankworth with Cleo Laine, Mark Murphy, Jon Hendricks, Doris Troy, Humphrey Littleton band, Buddy Rich Band, and too many more to list here. This is a Folk based influenced release, simple guitar and vocals on the majority of tracks. A real back to basics. it is also a Celebration release as I reach my 70th year.
