简介
R.T. Graves was born on the dry plains of the Wimmera. He followed his banker father around Victoria as his old man solved everyone’s financial problems but his own. The young R.T. Graves stole away in the night to sing his songs beside railway tracks in rural towns through the Western District to Gippsland, from the Midlands to the Bellarine. He worked as a wool classer and a nurse, a storeman and a servo console operator, before busking at empty railway stations from Drouin South to Sale, through Geelong and back to Melbourne. Now when he writes and sings his 12-front bar Australian ‘couspel’, you’ll find him rocking on the banks of Stony Creek. Only the Moonlight can drag him to the recording studio or a live venue.
