Her characters are nearing extinction but never letting go. You'll find wanderlust addicts, widowed men in love, political heartbreakers, truckstop hookers, and small town members of the disappearing rural countrysides. This fall Meaghan is promoting her debut album, "No Whiskey in a Good Girl's River" touring throughout the midwest and southeast. "The Avenue of Beauty Tour," idea was born from a mystical intuitive experience after Heidi Spencer bought an antique map from a Wisconsin estate sale to give to her comrad Meaghan Owens. The tour follows the old map and traces Historic Highway 31 between Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN and alot of other places around and in between, stopping surely in the nook of Glasgow, KY for reasons embedded in the blood of the performers. Meaghan and songwriter/filmmaker Heidi Spencer are on tour together this fall along with Meaghan's brother, filmmaker and drummer, Connor Owens of the indie band Aurore Rien.
