Iamdred] (born Eldred Kyne,[2]July 19, Caner by astrology),[3] better known by his stage name Dred / IamDred, is a Liberian born American Afro international, hip hop / R&B recording artist from the Queen City; Charlotte, North Carolina[1] USA While Producing a series of moderately successful Hit Records between 2006 and 2012, for other artists in genres like Afro, Hip Hop and R&B; Dred started working on his own project and Produced his first Afro International album with Vick2hot titled “ INVITE ONLY “ The album generated positive reviews which lead to tours on the East Coast USA. The album spawned 4 singles, BASA, DON’T RUSH, I BE BALLING and RUNWAY LADIES Early life and career beginnings Dred, a Liberian American, was born Eldred Kyne in Montserrado, Liberia. His parents are from Congo settlement, Brewerville, Liberia and came to the United States from Liberia. Dred's family first lived in Brockton, Massachusetts, before moving to Charlotte North Carolina. Dred attended J.J Roberts Unite Methodist High School in Liberia till 11th grade then transferred, Dred attended the Community College in Charlotte CPCC in 2006 where he Studied Simulation and Game Development (SGD) for a year, then added Computer information and Technology (CIT). He’s a certified A+ Computer technician. He also Took on Computer programming lil C++ for his game development and now he’s a Python coder. Dred’s first major recording was called "Dance for ME". It was his first song to ever be distributed globally. He was featured in the fashion Shows as a start along side Vick2hot.
