简介
This is Paul Loomis' 3rd album and first in 5 years. This time around he has the help of several members of the Bloomsburg area music scene, including Jeremy and Audra dePrisco (of Fricknadorable), Mike Hickey, Randy Moyer (of Wonderchunk), Safa Saracoglu, John Sweeney, John Huckans, Erin Dietrick, and Paul's kids Anna and Zeke. There are lots of kid-friendly songs about animals (Chimpanzees, the Ruffled Grouse, Little Birds) or food (Toast, Peanut Butter, Mostly Corn, Another Piece of Toast). There are also topical songs like Susquehanna (Here it Comes Again), a song about flooding that won 3rd prize in the 2011 PA Heritage Songwriting Festival. There are odd instrumental pairings (guitar, violin, trombone in Mostly Corn, or banjo, tuba, percussion in the rollicking singalong Digali). There is a song (Have to Pee) about being stuck in a tent in the rain. There are more thoughtful songs too. In short, some folky fun for everyone.
