简介
Peo Better not forget I’m a fan of many Swedish acts and one album that I regularly play, is “Look What I’ve Started” (1995) from singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Peo Pettersson. As a performer, Peo came to the surface as frontman of the band Axia, with whom he released a 4-track EP (1984) and a self-titled album (1986). Peo left Axia in 1989 to front the Christian band Leviticus, but he showed his real talent for the first time on the above-mentioned “Look What I’ve Started”, on which he was supported by many well-known Swedish session musicians. good news is that he’s now back with a brand-new one, called “Better Not Forget”. After all these years, it’s a pleasure to listen to the man again. The 10 songs on offer show a versatile artist with a mix of pop-rock songs in which I hear many influences, even from the bluesrock corner of a band like ZZ Top. Listen to the opening track, “All Worth It Now” or “House Of Blue Lights”, for proof of that. Pure melodic hard rock can be heard in a track “Strange Sun”, but the bulk of the material is of a poppier nature. What makes the special edition of this brand-new album
