EL LAGO hails from Galveston, Texas. The four-piece sometimes evokes a past era of 80s and 90s dream pop, shoegaze, and indie rock. "Into the Clearing" was recorded with Grammy-winning engineer and producer Steve Christensen and producer Austin Sepulvado at SugarHill Recording Studios in Houston, Texas. It was mastered by Chris Longwood.
