简介
“Murdering Us From The Sky”, says singer/songwriter Jeff Saxon, "was a song I absolutely had to write after learning about chemtrails and watching this toxic travesty falling down upon us on a daily basis..." Saxon adds: "This mass poisoning, which incredulously is happening worldwide, is the most disturbing and despicable act against humanity and our environment that I've witnessed in my lifetime..." But this is not your standard fare three-chord folky protest song by any stretch. Instead, Saxon keeps true to his proclivities for moody, jazz and Latin influenced chord changes and emotionally striking, no-holds-barred lyric writing. The recording, which is anchored by Saxon's sublime acoustic guitar, has an undeniably contagious groove, which belies its ballad tempo and serious subject matter. "It just made perfect sense to have a captivating world beat to this song...after all, it's a global problem...so I wanted my message to be appealing to as many people as possible." The track, exquisitely produced by Michael McGregor, who has worked extensively with Saxon for years, was recorded in their respective studios in CA and NJ. Almost immediately after its release, the track has evoked strong positive impressions in environmental circles and anti-chemtrails websites, such as globalskywatch (where it is being featured). Saxon said he plans to contribute a portion of any potential profits from sales of the single to select organizations actively trying to eradicate chemtrails. Fans of the more topical work of Sting, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen and John Mayer should find this track similarly compelling.
