I was born in Prague, Czech Republic and left that country at the age of 15. Since then, I have written, arranged, played, sung, performed my music on three continents: I played in a successful lounge duo in London, a raunchy blues band in Reykjavik, Iceland, a country blues band in Tel Aviv, Israel ("The Middle East Blues Band" - still remembered by old timers there). Later on when I settled in North America - first Toronto, Canada, now in Orlando, FL - I have led numerous jazz and swing bands and written music for TV, radio and film. As time went on, my style stabilized at something you could call jazz/pop or jazz/indie rock. It's light but still complex harmonically and it has very definite traces of the blues. The most commercial tune on this disc, I Fell In Love In New Orleans, is a throwback to the 50's almost but most of the other tune most definitely have a jazz tinge to them. Sit back and enjoy!
