简介
Born Brandon “Rajaun” Tucker, Donny was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up watching his mother perform at many different venues. Donny grew up in a musical family and by the age of ten years old he joined his church choir. In the sixth grade he joined the school choir and there, he experienced his first solo. He sang in choir until reaching high school and Donny Rajaun came into his own. Donny’s inspiration comes from artist like Usher, Cee-Lo Green and Donny Hathaway. Songwriting has always been a passion for Donny as an artist and continues to be one of his strongest attributes. In 2011 he collaborated with local Virginia rapper “The Fieldz” and released a single shortly after. Later in that same year he released “Radio Love” a sexy slow track for the ladies, this is where Donny’s music is catered to. Due to the overwhelming feedback he received he then recorded mixtape tracks like “Full Throttle, Outta Breath, and Lights down low. Donny was a senior in high school when Full Throttle made a radio debut in Alabama. The summer of 2012 Donny started streaming his latest track entitled YFG which is his abbreviation for “Young, fly and getting it” and this song attracted the likes of his current manager Clifton Harris. Clifton was a Recording Artist Guild employee in Beverly Hills, CA. Clifton was also a student at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood and a local artist himself when he discovered Donny Rajauns “YFG” and was instantly impressed and approached Donny with management services. Donny happily accepted and since has received a ton of incite on how the music industry works and the law surrounding copyright and performance rights organizations. Donny Rajauns path to stardom thus far has been a lot of hard work with a little bit of good fortune, but either way he’ll take it and roll with the punches as he continues to grow and mature as a singer and performer.
