简介
Dr Le Van Tu is a university professor turned song writer. He discovered his passion for music since his early teenage years. His first songs were written when he was fifteen year old, and were first broadcasted on the radio of Hue, the old capital of Vietnam. After three years of enjoying music playing and song writing in Hue, Le Van Tu had to move to Saigon when the war in central Vietnam intensified. In Saigon, Le Van Tu’s dream of becoming a professional musician met great hurdles and his work of song writing suffered a long period of interruption due to financial difficulty. In order to survive and to pursue university education, he had to work terribly hard by doing all sort of tedious work such as selling newspapers, collecting data for the national statistic department, and home tutoring. In 1973, Le Van Tu migrated to Australia and started a new career as a researcher in Science. During his years of doing research in Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at various universities in Australia, United States, and France, he had the opportunities to travel around the world, and developed a deep love for nature and people. This has revived his passion for music and triggered his resumption of song writing. All of Le Van Tu’s recently composed songs are dedicated to praying of love. He has realised that in this world, nothing is more valuable than love: love for nature, love for humans and for peace.
