THIS IS A CD+DVD PACKAGE[DVD region code : ALL , NTSC] Best known for his Billboard Singles Chart hit (no.5) “She Blinded Me with Science” and his collaboration single “Field Work” with Ryuichi Sakamoto, while boasting a career in electronic music that dates back to the early 1980s, Thomas Dolby is finally back on the world stage. On February 17th and 18th 2012, Dolby finally made it to Tokyo (30 years after his career started) and performed at the legendary Blue Note venue.! Kevin Armstrong and Matthew Seligman, whoʼve been supporting member since the 80s, also joined the tour. The set list features many classic songs, and will keep the Dolbyʼs fans very happy! This set was prepared especially for Japanese audiences, making these interpretations unique to this tour. To celebrate his first performance in the country: weʼve captured his live performance on camera and presented it in this audio/visual package that features both DVD & CD formats. The audio has been mixed by Dolby himself along with a Japanese engineer. Incidentally: the tour was initiated by Ryuichi Sakamoto after Dolby told him (while in London) that throughout his whole career, heʼd never played in Japan.
