‘Saltarello’ brims to the full as a fusion of folk, rock, celtic and psychedelia. Rich undercurrents, vocal harmonies, and the use of rare instrumentation such as hurdy gurdy, ewi and theremin produce a special blend of uniqueness on this energetic collection of traditional and original folk tracks. And to end with is the song ‘Babylon’, written in 2003 but only now getting airplay - taking us back in time as an echo of the style of Magicfolk's debut album.
