K.S.A. is a hard rocking, hard driving, rap-rock track in the best Kid Rock tradition. Originally written as a pre-game warm up song for the Murdock High School Football team in Winchendon, Massachusetts, K.S.A. also pays tribute to former Murdock High Football coach, Dan Miller. Volunteering his time, Coach Miller loved working with the football team. Instilling teamwork, dedication, and a desire to win, in the players he coached. And although Coach Miller, a Vietnam veteran who served his country with 2 tours of duty in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne, knew meaning of the word fight, Coach Miller lost one of the hardest battles of all, his battle with cancer. K.S.A. pays tribute to Coach Miller and the fighting spirit he did his best to instill in the Murdock High foolball players he coached. You never give up and you never give in, and K.S.A. when it's time to win!
