Josh Banks was born September 11, 1984 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. At the age of ten a young Josh Banks sang on the church and school choirs and this is were he was introduced to the fundamentals of vocal harmony. When Josh was a teenager he also sang and recorded with his family in a traveling gospel group. By the time Josh was seventeen he had started his career as a recording artist referencing songs, doing background vocals and voice overs. By the time Josh was twenty he joined a local four piece boy band who had some local and national success appearing in several videos and opening for acts such as Patti Labelle, Faith Evans, 112 and Floetry. Josh later realized that pursuing a solo career would be in his best interest.

Josh Banks work with Madface Productions, Blast Productions and D**e Development Music gave Josh the opportunity to develop his unique style of blending the old school style of Philadelphia with his new school flow, giving Mr. Josh Banks the confidence and capability to represent “ The City Of Brotherly Love And Sisterly Affection “ by prospectively putting Philadelphia style love songs once again on the charts.
