Laser Life is an electronic music outfit fronted by Breki Mánason a young gentleman from east Iceland. Breki used to be the guitarist of a hardcore punk band. After his band went on hiatus Breki started producing electronic music inspired by old gaming consoles. But Breki does not abandon his roots as he incorporates guitars and occasional vocals into his electronic music.

The music is inspired by variety of genres including chiptune, drum & bass, synthwave and indie rock. Local music blog Straum.is described Laser Life’s music as “a mix between Ratatat and Apparat Organ Quartet with a friendly bunch of Nintendo melodies”. Laser Life‘s debut LP Polyhedron is produced by Curver Thoroddsen from the legendary Icelandic band Ghostigital.
