Kevin Carter & The Full Assurance Band is a family bluegrass gospel band located in the North Western North Carolina / East Tennessee area. Our venues currently cover 16 states and we performed 129 events in 2011! This includes Churches, Festivals, Fairs and private events. We believe our unique style and material is something that is wholesome and refreshing for everyone. We are a committed band and want to expand out boundaries, we still believe in providing a quality product to the consumers is the key to success. The project was completed at Eastwood Studio in Cana, Va. and produced by Wesley Easter and Kevin Carter. It also features Billy Hawks on the fiddle, a well-known member of the Junior Sisk and Rambler Choice Band. The songs are published through Grass Tank Music, by Mr. Johnny Williams in Danville, VA. All the material on this project is original except for Track 4 - In the Sweet Bye and Bye. Track 5 - "Heavens Bluegrass Stage" was written as a dedication to bluegrass legends Bill Monroe and Jimmy Martin, and with the recent loss of Earl Scruggs it would be appropriate to include the banjo master. “Kevin Carter and Full Assurance love bluegrass gospel music, and the gospel message is at the heart and soul of their music.
