Originally on his Rapid Fire Records imprint; "Charity" is being re-released on ODA Digital with 8 spanking new mixes covering the house, progressive house, tech house and techno genres. There is great variety here with excellent material for various dancefloors. The most dynamic mix is Southern Lights Dan Ferritto tech house mix which uses haunting keys and thumping percussion with interesting electronic effects on this floorfiller. Turkeys DJ Tarkan continues to impress me with his Progressive House remix which is bright, bouncing and banging with cool swirling keyboard play. Intelligent techno fans will dig Hassan Abou Alams mix which is minimal but very musical and fluid; expect bigtime play on this one this summer! DJ Milectros techno remix presents crisp, bubbly production with sink-like flourishes that give the track depth and presence with a cool buildup. Rhythm junkies will love Brazil techmeister Tech Stans 4 on the floor house remix with its spacy keys and steady building groove. Epic is a word that tends to be used too freely but Larry Powers Midi Life progressive house remix is just that; glistening clean and confident as it rises to a eargasmic peak of intertwining rhythms and synths set off by stunning piano and subtle percussion. Newcomers Mito & El Calderons remix is a bigroom stormer that will command the attention of the fist-pumpers and glowstickers with its piano based groove and dirty synths. For those of you who like to get right to the point DJ Tarkans radio remix hits the spot for progressive house fans who like the vibe pumping and concise. It is hard to find fault with any of these mixes and I have no doubt this package will grace many A-list djs charts throughout 2011. Coming in February!!
