Made up of Alo Kafe and Nakes Da DeeJay, MusiQ Monkz’ From A to Z(Odiac) is in a way, a prelude to their upcoming album. “We like associating our music with the astrological phenomena…The name of our EP is inspired by the fact that the Zodiac has twelve houses and twelve signs, and there are also twelve notes in the musical octave.” Says MusiQ Monks MusiQ Monks see themselves as sound healers, using music as the main healing component, using each of the 12 keys in correlation with each of the twelve zodiac signs to speak to a broader audience, using the universal language of music.
