Blue Rose was formed by bassist Jon Martin and guitarist Corey Storm. Three beautiful women out front, Ahada, Diana Balsama and Kathy Horton, with Dave Favro on sax and keys, and Barry Kovach on drums round out the line-up. The band writes entertaining original bluesy rock material while selecting B side covers and several crowd pleasers for live performances. The band focuses on creating a professional and polished performance. With three dynamo female singers, the band has been well-received and became an instant success. With the diverse musical backgrounds of the members, Blue Rose defines their own brand of Detroit sound.
