This song came out of a quick recording session that I barely remember, I was done so quick! A few months later I shot a youtube video: "Just a Minute, or How to Teach Common Courtesy", and needed a song to accompany it. This track was in my library and I synced it. "Lonely for You" came out on top not because it was the best fit musically - rather because it was about the right length! More than 80,000 views on my video prompted me to think about releasing it for purchase, so I hope you like it! I couldn't find the original session, so the mix is what it is - seriously a RAW demo. Dale Tippett, Jr., a Chicago native, and veteran performer of many styles of music. His self-titled solo project, Dale Tippett, Jr features his backup band,Tin Lolita, which is comprised of his long-time friends Ezra Lange on bass and Agustin Jaramillo on drums. Together they perform Dale's original material, which is best described as "bluesy rock music, peppered with jazz influence". Some of Dale's music, like the gritty Back for More, invoke a deep Chicago Blues sound, while the others, like That Dress, showcase Dale's guitar work in a super-slick, jazzier setting.
