Hailing from small town Towaco, New Jersey, Amber James is a singer/songwriter with a unique voice and a story to tell. At the age of 3, Amber’s parents discovered her gift and since have motivated her to explore her passion for music. Allowing it to become her outlet, Amber James decided to create her own path, honing her talent and pursuing her dream. Sharing her covers to her favorite songs on YouTube, she tirelessly worked her way into building a local fan base and managed to be heard by music producer The LX. In 2013, Amber began writing and recording original music and she developed a unique sound for herself fusing classic melodies with today’s Urban/Alternative Pop music. Today, at only 18 years of age, Amber James is readying her debut EP “rm. 98”. Working everyday towards making her dreams come true, Amber James isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Amber’s will to win has led her to seek more opportunities by relocating to LA in hopes to secure her first record deal. rm. 98 was executive produced by The LX and was recorded and mixed at Birch House Studios in West Orange, NJ.
