The original songs played by these three experienced musicians combine elements from the past, present and even the future of music. The combination of powerful drumming, solid bass and stylish guitar coupled with soaring vocals allows BLACK DRAGON to blend styles from different genres so subtly that the listener will discover something new every time they hear one of the band’s tunes.

After playing many live shows to tighten up their sound and polish their brand of original rock music, BLACK DRAGON packed up their gear and headed into Megasound Studios in Ventura, CA to record their first CD. The disc, which was engineered by studio veteran Ross Stein using a famed Neve 8108 console, was recorded live in only a matter of hours and captures the band in peak form. This recording highlights the diversity of each band member’s unique talents as they demonstrate their ability to deftly fuse rock, blues, metal and alternative music styles into the distinct sound the group is known for. A documentary titled “BLACK DRAGON recording at Megasound Studios” was made to chronicle the events of that October day in 2015 and is available for viewing on You Tube.
