简介
The Salsa aficionado will not be disappointed with Carlos Faroy's "Mi Religion es la Salsa." These songs appeared in Faroy's first U.S. production, "Asi Soy," only to be enhanced and re-recorded with live musicians for a high definition sound. With the collaboration of world-class musicians such as trumpet player Adalberto Lara of the Orquestra Irakere and trombon player William Pardes, musician for Luis Enrique, this album captures the richness of Faroy's compositions, arranged and mastered by Latin Grammy Award-winning producer, Carlos Infantes, who performs on the piano and lends vocal support. Other noteworthy musicians that collaborated in this production include Alex Marco on the trumpet, Lazarito "El Trombon de Guanabacoa," Danny Barrios on the timbales, Tito Pakin on the congas, and Sergio Perez on the bass. As singer-songwriter, Faroy infuses romanticism and passion into each track. Following in the steps of today's great salsa artists such as Ruben Blades, Gilberto Santa Rosa, and Willy Chirino, Faroy incorporates all the necessary ingredients to get even the shiest of dancers running to the dance floor.
