Acoustically Speaking Vol.1 is the preface to what I have musically. I wanted to prepare your mind, ears and heart. I decided to do it acoustically hence the title “Acoustically Speaking." I wanted my heart to pierce through the speakers. The foundation of the whole album is that acoustic/electric guitar sound. This is my first album so it was important for me to showcase my love for guitar music. Each track on the album were all based on a true story so instead of being vocally driven on this album I was lyrically driven. Therefore, you can definitely hear my heart on this album. -Tamika J
