简介

Marsha Lee is an Americana-Folk singer/songwriter and musician from South-Eastern Kentucky. After relocating in 2012 to Lexington, Kentucky she released her first self-released album, The Lost Pages. While Guitars and Leaving is Marsha Lee's second album, it is the first studio album released through Skinny Devil Records and Feltner Artist Management. This album breaks through the fuzzy boundaries while being free and open to take you on the raw journey of the artist and music. This album harbors a unique vision that encases the struggles we experience while navigating life and relationships. Multiple genres are encapsulated through Marsha Lee's many musical influences and experiences. David M. McLean is an American guitarist, music instructor, producer, and music entrepreneur originally from San Antonio, TX, and based in Lexington, KY. He is best known for Skinny Devil Music Lab, an umbrella organization under which he composes, performs, records, teaches, produces, and more. 'Something There' David McLean on bass Oh when will the phone ring Will I ever hear your voice again Memories of your smile come back to haunt me The urge of wanting you turns into pain Your hands, your face, this shit is driving me..crazy If the situation were different I swear I would snatch you in an instant There is something there about you I can’t fight this feeling and I know it ain't right But you're all I think about, got me staring at the ceiling I can’t shake you, I can’t shake you, anymore Most wouldn’t ever understand It doesn’t make sense to me either I see you in my back seat Damn I wish I would have come with a plan I am stuck around you I couldn’t fight you if I wanted too There is something there about you I can’t fight this feeling and I know it ain't right But you're all I think about, got me staring at the ceiling I can’t shake you, I can’t shake you, anymore Sometimes I wish my eyes had never seen you at all I see you when I close my eyes It’s hard to decide, it’s you that I despise Cause my life was so simple before you There is something there about you I can’t fight this feeling and I know it ain't right But you're all I think about, got me staring at the ceiling I can’t shake you, I can’t shake you, anymore 'What Else' David McLean on bass Your arms surround me I surrender to your gaze, you’ll never get rid of me My eagerness burns to see you again Do you feel what I feel I’m looking for something wrong Is this happiness real I’m so unsure I can't trust myself Ooh, ooh What else do I need to tell you this I’m trying so hard but I can't catch my breath This is not the end, it's a glimpse of the new I’ll never forget you, I won't forget you Are you still there I told you i can't do this i'm trying to avoid your stare My only weakness in the world is you How the hell could you still be here After all that i have put you through Another sleepless night I don't know how much longer i can put up this fight What else do I need to tell you this I’m trying so hard but I can't catch my breath This is not the end, it's a glimpse of the new I’ll never forget you, I won't forget you I am scared too You think that this is easy for me All I’ve ever known was you It was you…..it was you..
