FIRE THROUGH THE WINDOW New single LONG GONE comes after the success of their third studio album ‘All These People Are Golden’. The band have gone from strength to strength with one of their songs, ‘Do Do Do’, being used in an international Almay advertisement which was aired worldwide starring Hollywood starlet Kate Hudson. Long Gone is the first single from the new EP LIVE LONG and this track clearly illustrates the bands progression over the past eighteen months. “The song is about being in a situation that you feel trapped in and taken advantage of. Ultimately, it's about the realisation that you are the only one who can pull yourself out of it and how you get to that point” says lead singer Sinead Dennis. The music video to the single portrays an animated environment set in space and features Sinead turning pulleys that spin planets whilst Marc De La Querra is running on them. The whole band also plays on planets and at one stage Sinead's face is portrayed as the moon. The video was directed by Louis Minnaar and was shot in Pretoria studios. “The animation style of Louis Minnaar definitely compliments the tone of the song.
